Ever since we moved into the house the front lawn has never looked right, the drought this summer didn't help much either. When Tony carried out an investigative "dig" into the turg it was obvious that there was very little top-soil before he hit bedrock.

He has now built a low retaining wall in stone (which looks very good) treated the existing grass, and with the addition of horse manure, sand and plenty of new top-soil, created a solid base which he has re-turfed.

Weather-wise, it must have been the worst week in the year, but he persevered under these dreadful circumstances and we are very happy with our much improved front garden.

Together with advice he has offered regarding upkeep, we can look forward to a bright outlook next summer.

Tony worked for a week to dig up two large overgrown beds and replace these with hardcore and hessian sheeting, which was then covered with gravel and large rocks and completed with neat and effective edging stones. The finished effect transformed the garden and has made a considerable difference to the ongoing maintenance.

From the initial very fair quote to the final clearing up Tony proved to be completely reliable and incredibly hardworking, not stopping even in a (very unusual) heatwave!
